PERMISSIONS
ICPHYSICAL AFFECTION ∎ Absolutely. Vasiliy is pretty tactile - expect things like shoulder pats and greeting hugs (in the case of friends) from him. 
PHYSICAL VIOLENCE ∎ Yes, but I prefer to discuss how we want it to go down ooc first. Be aware that he's pretty much always armed and has rudimentary training in how to drop someone.
ROMANCE/FLIRTING ∎ Yes! Vasiliy is bisexual and has the capacity to be a pretty decent partner, but he doesn't easily form intimate bonds and isn't a trusting person. This can be very frustrating for people who expect him to behave like most people would in any given point of time in a relationship. Wildly different cultural expectations (even between himself and modern Russians) as well as language barriers tend to be an issue - he won't speak in Russian because he knows his dialect and patterns of emphasis are reflective of his actual generation and doesn't want to raise questions, but he can't fully express himself in English either. Even if he could theoretically communicate his emotions, the Bolshevik parenting style was all about being rational, scientific, and unemotional, so Vasiliy's extremely reluctant to express what he's feeling (especially if it's negative) and even less likely to confide in a partner.

MEDICAL INFORMATION ∎ He's fairly healthy, but has early lung and liver damage accrued during the thirties. Since returning to life he hasn't had any further deterioration despite being a profuse smoker and drinking slightly more than is normal or healthy. He also hasn't aged or physically changed since 1940, although he hasn't really realized that yet.
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS OR TRIGGERS ∎ Loud sounds, confined rooms (especially without windows), hearing people going up/down stairs when he can't see them, and the general grungy smell of basements are all mild triggers for Vasiliy. He won't react well to being prodded at about his past, and he tends to feel extreme hostility toward rich people (although he usually keeps it in check). If your character is or was wealthy, expect him to dislike them. Millionaires in particular are completely morally irredeemable in his eyes.

FOURTH WALLING ∎ Yes, but I tend not to find fourth wall stuff of the 'you are a character being roleplayed' variety overly interesting.

OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS OR TRIGGERS ∎ Big age gaps and ships involving an authority figure and an underling (i.e., teacher/student, doctor/patient) make me very uncomfortable — if you're involved in one in-game, please try not to bring it up in our threads. I won't play out stuff involving tornadoes, but other severe weather events are fine.

CW & OPT OUTVasiliy comes with some major content warnings: mentions/depictions of the Russian Yezhovshchina, violence, and flashbacks to psychological manipulation (his entire role in the NKVD was to approach subjects as a sympathetic figure to talk them into signing false confessions). He's still unlearning Stalinism, so his inner thoughts aren't completely in line with reality. He drinks and smokes to a maladaptive degree, so depictions of borderline alcoholism and smoking both go with the territory, and he's also pretty much always carrying a gun.

In particular, any flashbacks and recollections Vasiliy may have are likely to include mentions of violence, interrogation, and torture. He was a contemporary of multiple other mass-murders such as the Holodomor, which may also come up. I understand that not everyone's comfortable with that, so if you'd prefer me to steer clear, please don't hesitate to drop a quick note of that in the (screened) comments of this post.
